AT&T TV ad network adds Cox Media as affiliate

MAY 9: Add cable’s Cox Media to the list of advertising distributors for AT&T’s ad-targeting platform known as AT&T AdWorks. The two companies announced an agreement May 8 to include Cox’s 6-million subscriber footprint in the AdWorks Television Audience Network that helps define audiences partly based on viewing data drawn from set-top boxes. Cox Media was formerly aligned with Google’s TV-ad reservation platform before it was shuttered earlier this year. According to MediaPost , AT&T AdWorks now has a presence in 25 television DMAs.
